This weekend (3rd, 4th December) looks likes it going to be brilliant weather wise.  The trails are in awesome condition and the new ‘Dummy hill xing’ link is now open and proving to be a real hit with riders.  Hours and hours of work has been put into ‘Toms creek’ to make it 100% rideable the whole way!  This makes and awesome 5km loop in itself.  Come and check it out for yourself.

A large private event means TORATORA will be closed on Sunday 13th November.  We are open every other day this week so simply give us a bell before 8am on the morning you plan on coming out (or the evening before) to let us know you are coming.  See you soon. Tom and Kathryn Elworthy

Stefan (a world class trail builder), Tom and Hans have just completed a wicked new link trail that will give riders even more exciting riding here at TORATORA.  Stefan has been building trails all over the world and has hand built this single-track trail over a period of 3 weeks - near on 300 hours!  Stefan has also gone thru and opened up the ‘Tom’s creek’ trail with the help of Tom and Hans!  Thanks guys.  Check out the trails at TORATORA – you won’t be disappointed! – open 7 days a week by appointment only – simply phone and let us know when you are coming!

A bit of weed stuffing in the tube meant a flattie needn’t buggar up a days riding.  Some good old kiwi ingenuity got the group back on track and allowed them to enjoy the gorgeous day here at TORATORA. A bit of homemade cake ensured the car journey back home did not involve Dave chewing off his arm! See you all again soon.

Our extremely determined daughter, whom may I add has been on a mountain bike only a handful of times, completed the 13km Loop at TORATORA on Sunday 18th September.  This makes her the youngest ever to complete the the main Loop at TORATORA!  She has riden the track 4 other times and only managed to get 1/3rd of the way around.  With her Dad leading the charge, Millie pushed on and completed the Loop in just under 3 hours – a MAMMOTH effort from a nine year old!!

TORATORA will be closed from the 11th September until the 16th September for track maintainance.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.  We look forward to seeing you after the 16th.
